This is a vibration-sensing type of tuner that does not respond to sound.
Therefore, fine tuning is possible regardless of peripheral noise.
As the display on the LCD screen can be turned upside down, the display is easily viewable when the tuner is clipped on the upper side as well as lower side of the musical instrument while tuning. Further, the tuner is equipped with a backlight to enable quick tuning even in dark places.
